Now that it's my turn, I have dreadful page fright. What if I ruin a brilliantly planned arc? What if my contribution is unimaginative and predictable? WHAT IF PEOPLE DON'T LIKE ME???

If it's any comfort, I'm still having second, third, and umpteen-dozenth thoughts about mine.

What are you worried about? It's not like anyone liked you before.Segmentation Fault wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2019 5:43 pm Now that it's my turn, I have dreadful page fright. Re: Forest of Truth Discussion
Alright, the first cycle of the story is complete and I think we've got more or less an idea of how these story threads is supposed to progress. I believe the initial idea was for this to go on for several rounds. In which case luthien is up next.
Now that we've gotten used to the training wheels version of this process, we were thinking about starting up a secondary story that could be added onto and maybe opening up a story idea thread as well. Please chime in and let us know:
1) Are we excited about the current story offering? Do we want to continue?
2) Do we like the idea of having several concurrent stories going on at once?

The current story is quite interesting and worthy of continuation. I'll be posting to it shortly. This one is clearly the open ended crossover fic at this point and allows a lot of flexibility.
I am wondering if we want to do other stories but make them a little more focused and attempt to tell more cohesive stories.

Re: Forest of Truth Discussion
I'd prefer to keep the current story going as long as people are still interested and enjoying it, or until we hit a definite conclusion.
There are a couple more possibilities I've been toying with as well:
1) Start a new story along the same lines, but with no posting order; people can contribute whenever they feel like it - though for courtesy's sake, it would be polite to wait a few days after posting, to give other people a chance to jump in.
b) Let people post stuff to the story idea thread, pick something that interests several people, and begin that story. That might help with producing something a bit more structured.
Comments? Suggestions? Zombies attacking your house?

Hey, I don't want to let everyone else down (further) but I've been staring at the story thread for several days now and I'm completely incapable of pushing it in any direction.
